So, Fritag, gehen ein Freund und Ich nach die Essen Spiel Salon (und Comic Action auch..aber was haben Sie da war sehr klein). Der ganz Salon aber war sehr toll! So viel spaz mit der neue spiel. Aber jetzt ich muss konzentrieren mein zeit auf Wohnung suchen. Weil mein VG partnerin ist total schlech, sie mochtest hier bleiben, mit alles Unordnung sie hat gemacht. So, Ich kann nicht on arbeit oder freizeit zeichung machen konzentrieren...das..ist total traurig fur mich.

So, I'm applying for a concept artist position and decided to develop some concept art related to the game. Also, I feel it is necessary to try and show off a bit of the work I did for banner advertisements. I did some freelance banners for a game studio here in Germany called "GAMEFORGE" and produced quite a bunch of set banners for their game titles. Unfortunately they managed to find a Full timer to take over their advertisement dept, but I did make some cool banners. I'm just displaying one of the sets here for a game called "O-Game". I hope Blogger shows the animations.

Schlecht zeit machen Eingebung töten...aber, ich denke bleiben mir in diese Phase, Ich werde etwas prima machen. Ich warte für antwort von arbeit nach eine Kneipe, und ich muss Pandora's Paradox senden nach ein Verlagshaus im Frankreich heißen "DELCOURT EDITION". Sonst...der strasse nach Oktober ende ist nahe...Ich habe angst für mein letste Entscheidung für mein Leben.

Hard times kinda kill inspiration sometimes... But I'm thinking if things keep up in the "wanna draw" phase I'm in now, I'll get to doing something great. Anyways, I'm waiting on a bar job now, and also getting ready to send off Pandora's Paradox to a publishing company in France called DELCOURT EDITION. Otherwise...the road till October's end is nearing... I'm getting a bit afraid of making a final decision on my life.

New character I developed. Her name is Wave and she is a child of the water. Grown up on a boat of her father, she have never stayed on land for more then a couple of days at a time. One day, while out to sea in a uncharted area their boat was attacked by a giant whale. The damage was great and when Wave awoke to find herself drifting in what was the shattered pieces of her fathers ship, she vowed to find the beast who did this. Her and her fathers crew were rescued by the Klu, a race of bird people living on a nearby island and it is there where she finds out that the whale that attacked her ship was none other than Yggdrasil, the tree of life roaming the sea's in search of something itself. Now, with her father mysteriously vanished from the attack, Wave takes it upon herself to hunt the whale to the end of the seas.

Kind des BLITZES

I just picked up a new comic series that totally rocks. In german its called "Kind des BLITZES" and its really an amazing visual adventure about a boy named Laith and his mysterious powers. Definately worth a search up or import if its not in America.

Also, Pandora's Paradox Chapter 2 is in progress!

Ich habe ein neu comic gelesen und es ist unglaublish. In Deutsch es heiße "Kind des BLITZES" und es wirklich ist ein visuell überraschen von ein junge heiße Laith und seiner geheimnisvoll Kraft. Diese Buch ist ein gut lesen, und Wert importieren, wenn doch nur die Buch ist nicht im Amerika.

Und Pandora's Paradox Kapitel 2 habe Ich begonnen!

Read over "COG", a post to pitch comic for Tokyopop. Not bad. The artist is from a Art Institute school like myself, so gotta support the rising artist.

Rant-er's Box...

I've been saying it time and time again....


THERE HAS GOT TO BE A OPEN COMIC CONVENTION FOR INDIE COMIC ARTIST IN EVERY COUNTRY!!!

I've been saying it time and time again, and seriously something needs to take place. Artist out there cannot get that support from big time, small time, heck even themselves sometimes, and sometimes I really think that having a convention annually or whatever, where ever, could not only put a nice amount of money in their pockets....but maybe, just maybe, give some people the confidence they want or need in themselves to keep on pushing. To let them know that there are people out there that want to read their stuff, or look at their artwork. I always relate back to the manga and anime of COMIC PARTY. I love it. Not only because I relate to the main character like we are the same person (cept I be black, he be Japanisch!) but because he is so lucky to have the chance, the place to showcase his work.


Something needs to be done.

............I need more bread :(

Just some updates of sketch work I've been doing.

Looking into a book called "Der Ring Der 7 Welten". It comes from France but that's the German title. Some awesome color work and character designs. The world the characters are in seem amazing. I wanna be able to sit down for a while and read through this.

Today I have finally finished the first chapter to my new comic, Pandora's Paradox. I'm happy to finally have this first chapter complete as it is my first full color comic I've done. I hope to be able to continue with this comic, but for now, I'm going to edit text, content, and finally have a second translated version into German. Then my attack will begin. I will begin pitching my comic to American, German and Japanese audiences.

I also wanted to talk about a French comic that has caught my eye, in German the book is entitled "Der Ring Der 7 Welten". I'm very amazed at the context and beauty that this comic brings to its audiences. The watercolor style of coloring brings the characters and world to life. Its quite amazing. There are two books and I think a third one is being made. But I'll definitely grab all three copies when I get the money for it.

All and all, soon, I'll have to pick up some new freelance contacts, so here's to a successful run!

I went to a LAN party at a friend's house and while I when I wasn't watching the action, I drew a lot, and I was fairly happy that I managed to draw so much again. I missed that a lot. Gotta say thanks for that too. And Sacred GOLD wasn't too bad of an eye candy to watch being played. Mit mein Deutsch sprechen, ich muss dass später weiterhin tun.
